Just wondering who has them and what they got?
I know George has WRX low springs in the rear, but what does he have up front i wonder?

Also anyone know what springs Mark (low Burgandy sedan) has in his car? i know he compressed them even more, just wondering what the king springs are out of?

thanks guys

I have the lowered King springs for an RS front & rear in my ride.

Back sits a little higher than front, but with people on board it won't sag in the rear.

low or super low Geoff?

Just low, Jake. Super Low is no good for me.

Take your wagon down to the place in Vermont that does the Koni shocks, cause they will measure your car for you and show you exactly how low the car will sit with the different springs.

That what I did.

Hey guys,

Just for interests sake, me and Mark are running the low kings all round...but after some time we got bored with this height and "modified" them ourselves!!

Sits well...and handles very well, but mine is begining to sag a little in the rear.

PS does everyone remember the blue series 1 wagon on the last cruise? Coz i saw him on dandy road the other day...pulled over on the side of the road in front of a cop - funnily enough!

b4 we go mixing rs and rex springs you MUST understand that they are different spring rates hence the different part numbers , rs comes in at 190 p/sq inch ( 10% more than std)and rex at 230 p/sq inch ( 15% more ) while i have no problem with this by running stiffer rear springs you will increase your initial turn in ( good for getting rid of understeer in the dry) but will sacrifice some high speed cornering especially in a lift off situation ( ask vic!) . I raced my rs for a season with the rex club and have fiddled with the suspension and they will handle very good with the right set up and you dont have to poor heaps of bux into it .

 .. on the streets u never reach such high speeds, so if anything for street use this setup is perfect.. unless u like u understeer :P

Adam I have just changed my springs to the above mentioned and the car handles like a dream (also with swaybars and antilift kit) I would totally agree with what you say. Turn in is now amazing and to get rid of understeer for the sake of some crazy lift off oversteer (something i know I'll probably learn about the hard way*fingers crossed*)
I'm sure I'll survive I did with my Audi A4 Fwd non turbo except for a bent BBS rim or Two
Now I am looking forward to a track day maybe or some DECA skidpan fun! :D
P.S. Jake you gotta have drive of my car now man!!!!!!!!!!!

I think mine was around the $180 mark.

Dammm, my rear bar wasn't ready but they replaced all the front links and rear bushes for $30.

Anyone needing to get work done should check out Tru-Track in Nth Melbourne.

goergy boy , the lift kit is a good mod , you can fit them yourself as it only takes an hour or two . Improvements are had in the way of reduced dive under braking and getting rid of wheel spin from the front out of low speed corners .

Whiteline make one George, quite a few places stock them including the place i got my tyres in Rowville. I think they said it was about $170 fitted, could be wrong tho :o

George They work! Less wheel spin in the front on take off and even less dip in the back with lowered springs. Try Whiteline or MRT. MRT sell em as well, maybe whiteline one's don't know for sure. But they are around the $200 mark to buy if you can fit em yourself. Pics are a bit of a prob as I don't have a digital camera. Jake maybe we could hook up if you've got one and get some twins  photo's now you have tint :?:

Hi guys,
The 'low' springs u guys are putting on your cars - how much of a drop is it in height from the standard setup and how does the top of the tyre sit in relation to the wheel arch. I just picked up a set of wrx struts & lowered springs (30mm lower i think) for my wagon and wanted an idea how they will look on the car before i put them on.

its a nice height with the 40mm lower king springs, the rear arch is about an inch above the tyre....maybe half an inch

i want to go lower :D

Yea the wrx bar came with a front cut I bought - it fit on the liberty reatively easy and goes to show how similar the engine bay dimensions & pannels between the wrx & liberty are.
