Help Settle this Arguement

Hi group, If you had an oppuntity to replace your Australian Rs liberty rear bootlid over to an Import bootlid with the Legacy boot garnish and 1/4 rear lights to match........ Would you?

I wouldn't either. No offence to any of the legacy sedan owners on here, but I dont' like the legacy rear end at all compared to the RS rear end. Just my 2c worth,

Are you kidding , of course i would :D , i looked at doing this a coulple of years ago , parts are cheap as cause the wreckers cant sell them was quoted at $200 which was rear garnish , lights , rear bumber for an extra $50 would also get the rear screen with the wiper in it! looks better than aussie rs plus stands out a little more.

No way Adam! Do you know how dated that coloured centre garnish looks? reminds me of the Daewoo Espero, or the old 80's telstra Tx5's! Each to there own, but I reckon the aussie RS rear end is a lot nicer.

I would mind the rear screen with the rear wiper, but thats about it.

Wouldnt change the rear end at all, apart from putting on a massive towel rack of a spoiler, j/j. hehehe

I think I'll change the back lights. But not before I put blue neons under the car, glowing windscreen washers, and the entire Smurf gang stuck my dash board. Then I'll tint the new rear lights with black satin finish spray can and last but not least drop the car on it's guts by cutting the springs in half and fit a nice set of 15 inch CSA Sonar wheels :wink:
I then try and see how many heads I can turn when I crank my Roadsound 30w Dual Cone 6x9s that my Grandpa fitted for me.
Then I'll have the sickest RS mate 8)

Super cheap auto. Why make your RS look like an EA Fairmont. There are 960 RS LIBERTY's out there so why would you want a legacy badge on you car. Unless it was a real Legacy.

Mind you I have changed my side indicators from a Legacy. They now have the chrome strip above the indicator. Have pics if your interested. Cost me $30 bucks to do both sides. It looks good. Might be the fact that white is the better looking car anyway.

at last, a sensible post ........ something that relates to the
topic.
So all you have to do is the middle bit and you have done what
I might do. I don't have to pay for these, they are lying around waiting for someone to put them on.
And I keep my original bits.
