Go-Kart night with a difference

Hey guys,

I have posted a challenage to the Rex Club to see if they would be interested in some friendly competition.

RS Club Vs Rex Club

10 or 15 teams of 2
2 x 15 mins sessions each driver

Prizes/winner
- most laps (team of 2)
- quickest lap (individual)
- combined total laps for all drivers from each club (Winning Club)

There is a great track in sunshine called ace carts who do a race format with a 10 min qualifying and 2, 15 min heats. they have grid starts for the 2 heats, a trophy and prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd and a print out of quickest lap times etc.

Thats a awesome idea.. the go-kart track in moorabbin is crazy too, very professional.. but alittle on the expensive side.. if we get heaps of people together though it'll be worth it...

sweet idea Geoff, let us know what the Rexxie boys are thinking? I also heard the Sunshine one is pretty sweet, is it out door? i like the outdoor bitumen ones dorifo smoke :D

sunshine is outdoors , its a good quality set up , timing , grid start , trophies and t shirts if you win ( ive got a couple ) :D , vic is quik to so the rs club will dominate!

We do that at work. It is awsome. Except we have 10 teams of 4. 10min practice. 10min Qualifying. 15min Race. This is each person. So you get a 1 hour endurance race.

I might have a contact with the track in Clayton - but I dont have any idea of what its like. I have heard good stuff about Moorabbin though.

Only one wrx member has replied. I don't think there used to so many social activities (j/k for the wrx members who browse here) being organised :D

This will definayely happen, as it will be too much fun.

I think the last time i did this a few weeks ago, it was around $40-$50 bucks per person. But if we have a few contacts hopefully we can organise a decent price for the night.

Hey Guys,

I went to the sunshine track recently and cost depends on the format you go for...it will vary between $40 all the way up to like $60+
Around $55 gives u a pretty cool format on the supercarts (Monaco race)
