How fuked is all this smoke around!!, we r like 4 hours away and the shits fuking with my eyes and nose, imagine how it would be for the poor folk who live there :?

I saw the special on TV last nite, those fire fighters r insane.. they dont get paid enough..

If memory serves me correctly they don't get paid at all. Thats why their called volunteers. Very brave doesn't quite cover it. Without them we'd have a lot of scorched earth.

Hell yeah - big props to the firey's. I dont think I could handle doing what they do.

My dad was a former CFA chief in Eildon many years ago and fought the Ash Wednesday fires and he still says he gets shivers when he sees' the bush fires around the place.

Problem is that many of them are deliberately lit! String the pricks up by the balls asa fire come toward them I say!

Now we just have to stop Nazi doing burnouts in the scrub and sparking up!
