It wasn't my fault!!
An old guy in a Corolla Seca didn't see me turning right in Mentone and took off (from a stop sign no less) and hit my drivers side rear door. Ir's been pushed in from the rub strip down and the skirt has been ruined as well. Luckily the door and window still work and there was no damage to the rear wheel or framework.
Now I have to go through the shit of getting quotes and making sure his insurance is up to date and he does everything right. I might even have to go over to the dark side and get a rental car - maybe even a Falcodore or something horrible until I get back on the road (at his expense of couse - did anyone say circle work? ).
Oh well accidents happen - but he didn't have to try to blame it on me - He said that I turned into him! He was an old european fellow who had no idea that he didn't have right of way! He said "you were going straight and then you turned, so I went and you hit me". If you can make sense of that then your doing well.
Anyway I am still on the road, albeit slightly shaken and stirred. Rest assured the good old sledgehammer at dads will get a right good use today when I can take my frustrations out on some innocent walls  .
