Hey guys, just wanted to say hi. Didn't know this forum existed until i saw a link to it on the Liberty Rs yahoo-groups.....

Most of you would know me from other forums around the place no doubt.

Basic background is i'm from Brisbane. My car started as a 93 LX liberty FWD. After doing some mods to the EJ22 it chewed second gear apart. So i embarked on an AWD conversion in my driveway.

Took a little while, but was definately well worth the effort! Currently my car is running an EJ22 with stage 3 cams, ported and polished heads, full custom headers and exhaust and the rest of the usual crap. (produces around 130KW at the fly, ie. way too slow!!!)

Anyway, i will be converting it to turbo soon, after i sort out some more gearbox issues. (STI box comes next week :D) So no doubt i will pick your brains for info and assistance!

Also just a side note, i have made good connections with subaru importers and am at the point where i can get parts fairly cheap! So if anyone is in need of parts, i am happy to get a price for you and track down the parts...
(if you know of Karupt, he'll tell you where all his conversion bits came from.....)

NAliberty,
Good to see another Bris car on the site - what sort of conversion will you be doing? Turbo & computer for the existing motor or full engine swap etc.

welcome to the club NA.

good to hear you'll be joining the turbo ranks soon.

i bet your car sounds mighty tough now, with the headers and a stage three cam.

how much work was involved in the 4WD conversion? are all the tunnels the same?
