yep, it finally happened.
71 in a 40 zone! 4 demerit points, $265 fine and loss of licence for a month :cry: :cry: :cry:

and if that wasn't bad enough, i copped a $100 fine cause my rear p-plate fell off (3 weeks ago :roll: )
and an EPA for the gazorst!!!

and on top of it all, there's a new law that if p-platers lose more than 5 points in 12 months, it's an automatic 3 month loss of licence!!! THAT MEANS I ONLY HAVE TO LOSE ONE MORE POINT!!!

Hey bummer about the license thing Joe. But if you wanna keep your license i have an 83 CJ7 Jeep that you could borrow and trust me, you will keep your license. Maybe not your sanity or life (its scary up there with no sway bars) but you won't get done speeding. Unless you can find a really big hill in a 40 zone :D .

That really sucks buddy....but must say been there done that, a month goes by really quick...and Georgie was my own personal run around...

I lost mine on my P's 110 in a 70 zone...in my HZ my eyesight wasnt that good (didnt have glasses back then) the cop was standing in my lane and I nearly drove right passed him, I thought whats this dickhead doing in my lane does he want to get hit by a car...then I would of been %#$...My P's were extended for 7 months....

i thought i got done again last night.
i turned right onto bulla rd last night, and because it was raining, and there are three lanes, i couldn't help myself! :roll:
i flew through the lights and got the arse out, then rounded out 2nd and third, i looked up the road and there was a copper in a reflective suit in the middle of my lane. i s**t bricks. i though he was out to wave me down. i slammed on the breaks and cruised up to him. i then realise there was a booze bus on the other side of the road and he was just helping somebody cross (being night time). my heart nearly stopped!!!
