you should add an edit button

Just a suggestion, someone should add an edit button if you can so you can go back and add or delete things to your post, sometimes people forget to add things they wanted to say. just though it would be nice. another forum I use has one and it has really been handy!

Its only on your own posts, and i think the moderators have that access as well.

nope not here, I have a back to top button and a profile button and a pm button and a quote button and thats it, no edit button unless im going blind and just dont see it.

Very strange
I made a post in technical this morning and realised I stuffed up something after I hit submit, but there was an Edit button. So i just went back and fixed it. Now going back to the same post the button has gone :?. Maybe you can only edit your post for a certain period of time after you make it.

We took the edit button off today as too many people were editting original post, which in hand messes up the whole thread. we'll see if we can change it so that you can edit your own posts in a certain time limit.

Its just so all the threads make sense ;)

Um, don't know about anyone else but i could only edit my own posts, not other peoples.
I think being able to edit your own post is ok but maybe admin could put a "NO EDIT" on Geoff's posts :wink:

If there is something u really want edited, PM an Admin/Mod and ask nicely for them to change it for you ;)

Please dont abuse it... if u forget 2 write something in your post, sure use it, but make sure no one has posted after u, as this generally throws the whole tread off..
