My cat found 2 of these in our yard and was having a good ol play with them when i noticed 1 was rearing up and striking the cat :lol:
then he tried to strike me when i was trying to spade him
anyone know what type of snake it is??? or should i say what kind of snake it was....hope i havent upset his mummy :shock:

That appears to be a rare and valuable south brisbane river cat eating snake and should be saved at all costs. Or it could be a green tree snake. Either way, the snake/cat bout has got to be something that should be televised on Sky or Fox sports.
Jokes, I'm an animal lover. There's just something about cat arrogance that you can't ignore.

i thought it was some kind of tree snake, until it got angry
the cats caught half a dozen of them in our backyard rockery...always a classic to watch...she jumps about ten feet high
next time i'll pull the video camera out

apparently its a yellow faced whip snake and can kill cats :shock:
will need to be quick if im going to catch it on video :?
