Had anyone here ever dealt with them before? How was that?

The price listed on their web page is so low that I never seen such a low price locally......

concur...as i currently have the 512's, they are shite. soft soft sidewalls, and wear so fast its not funny. worst money ive ever spent on tyres. Mine are more than half worn at 7500 klms

Was talking to my Dad the other day about wheels, and Toyota got given a heap of 17" chromies to test against standard mags. They put them thru the same shit as they would their own wheels, and not one set passed. Thats very sad... Each one cracked the rim.
Oh and my Dad works in Test and Development at TMC.

90% of the cheap chromies on the market are cheap for that very reason, they're as weak as piss !
My mate bought some 17" ame copies for his car.. after a few months the chrome plating starting pealing off.. literally..

That they can actually sell them over here when our ADR standards are so high for cars is plain stupid. A set of 17" that split when you hit a bump aint a good investment.

A friend of mine bought wheels from them and the chrome started flaking off about 4 months later. When he went back to them they told him it wasn't covered under warranty coz he lived near the beach and the salt air affects the chrome!

Yeah and if you dont mind cracks and plain crap wheels go for it. Me i prefer my wheels to stay in one piece thanks. I've seen the test data, and i wouldnt put them on my paddock basher.

similar to the sale of second hand tyres, commercial operators can sell you cheap worn tyre, fit them, then you can be booked for having worn tyres, yet a commercial shop supplied and fitted them knowingly to a road registered car, what the?????
by the way is this a plug for tempe tyres?? I was thinking of getting the Concept 5 17's myself, but after this roasting will stick to the good old WRX 17's...

wrx 17s aint that strong either  they'll bend easily... and if you tap a gutter... be prepared to have to spend big $$ for a new wheel if your one cant be rolled out....

I've bounced mine off and out of a few rather large bumps/holes, and they havent buckled yet. Unlike my previous aftermarket rims which i dinted two quite successfully

I'll despute that...
I have a set of "FEDERALS" on my mx-5..
when it rains, the mazda cant be driven. period. wont go, wont turn and cant stop. They are dangerous, really dangerous. Driving down a hill in the wet, If you touch the brakes, it swaps ends. funny watching the looks on the faces of the people following you as you do a 180 on approach to a red light. I think they are a new generation of tyre, made from polypropylene  .
