ok i have been to melbourne zoo a few years back ...wasnt too bad


I want to know if anyone has been to the one in healsville and werribee ??

Im down in melbourne in november

girlfriend is wanting to go to a zoo....

werribee is more fun. coz its a safari zoo...
both are a fair way out of the city tho and on completely opposite sides.
so you'll need a day to see each one.

Healsville is more of a national park rather than a zoo isn't it? So whether you see any animals is up to the animals :lol:

healesville is pretty boring tbh; i took my gf there when we were home. saying that - she loved it. mostly stuff in cages with some day-shows.
it didnt take too long to get to healesville tho.. i was expecting a longer drive tbh.. Worth doing once, but weribee sounds a lot nicer.

well i didnt get to do the safari night tour at the western plain zoo in dubbo ...so ill do it at werribee...pretty expensive though ...especially when your surprising the mrs with it ....damn women lol

I cant say i was tooimpressed with the melbourne zoo..but that was a few years back ...

if anyone knows of other good drives or day trips let me know ....already planning on doing sorento ..try and do great ocean road again ...wouldnt mind giving the wineries ago ..havent done that in melbourne yet ....and my liberty will be making its second appearance down there ... : )

Well if your going to go to the Yarra Valley, Healville Sanctuary is about 25mins away. Depending on where you are in the Valley of course.

Oh and while your at the sanctuary, just accidently head straight through Healsville and you'll hit the Black Spur. Stop halfway along and well um you can do what you like....

Living at the doorstep of there is good fun.

Melb zoo has been upgraded no? lots of new enclosures and shiz.

Also if the gf is coming down they have a jazz night there and u take ur rug, blanket, wine and sit back and enjoy :P (not sure if its on this time of the year)

hhmm drone...ended putting a lukey turbo muffler on ...has helped heaps with the drone..but still a bit there...maybe another resonator now...mightjust do that in melbourne ..ill work it out..

well first 2 weeks im in melbourne on my own ..so i expect you fellas to take me out ....and drink lots of beer :twisted:
