Boxer Vs Boxster - Not too shabby

What was meant to be a relaxed drive home the other night ended up seeing the TT hit redline in anger :evil:

If it wasn't for the fact that the Porsche Boxster driver cut right in front of me on the highway just to razz me, I would not have cared - game on. :twisted:

I kept on his tail as we hit the next section of highway at about 120k and then decided to see if he was up to the challenge - not a bite :wink:

I got caught up behind some slower traffic and he was back on my tail as we hit another dual lane highway... 100 - 120 - 140 - still there and then suddenly he came out of my drag and came along side.

Clicked the power on the auto - 150 - 160 - 170 he was just starting to get in front when I decided enough was enough - don't need to be another statistic.

Since I was only running 10psi at the time I was more than happy - especially since he had a 200kg advantage, aerodynamics and a $130K price tag.

What colour was that Boxster TT? Coz if it is the one I am thinking about then I can sympathise. Just after I left the DEC SS of Safari this year this prick does nearly the same thing to me as you, cept he went around the outside of me turning right onto the Brooker.

Trust me m8, a bit more boost, say 14 pound, and you would been waving to him in the rear view mirror. I caught and passed him by 120 k's at which stage I backed off while he proceeded to do the old birdie flyby!! But my point had been made!

Like you, I too also do not condone speeding, specially on a camera trap that the Brooker is!

You should be able to get the Boxter pretty easy... the straight boxter only has 168kw and 260nm, the S type has 191kw and 310nm. They also weigh 1350kg and 1390kg respectively before an optional extras so you are pretty close to the same weight being a BG wagon weighs about 1420kgs. But you sure got him on price: $108500 for the Boxter and $133100 for the S! Wind up the boost and say bye bye!!!
