Hey guys, i'm convinced my cars a little of the pace at the moment.
What sort of times do you guys clock on the 0-100kph, and what would be considered the norm?

between auto and manual, and modid cars, very hard to tell, stock was something near 6.5 secs (RS 2.0T) but I could be wrong.

What times are you running? Late 6's is stock for an RS when launched, but a bit of boost and a zorst makes a fair difference.

My car will run low 5's consistantly (that was in the wet too), but thats due to the stalled auto. Should be quicker when i get it back.

It's a bog stock auto and runs closer to 8sec! :(

Well are you stalling the auto up at all? If your not then i wouldnt expect much more. If you dont launch an RS, it would be about the same.

Are you just counting the 8secs or is a G-tech doing it for you?

Just running against the clock! It's around 9sec without loading it up!

Well you asked for an average 0-100kmh time... you have a ver4y average one now

Mat

I agree with Drmat, that is an average time. Do you have a boost gauge? Are you actually running any boost?

Yep, spikes to 11psi then drops back 9-10psi. She just won't boggie!
Turbo is a stock VF10!

My 2.2 Vectra 5MT runs 9 seconds flat (against a stopwatch) so that sounds a bit slow for a turbo Subaru. :?

on a web page all about them it says for the sedan, 6.9 standard. low 6s with exhaust and pod, and mid to low 5s with boost bumped up...

My 2002 WRX runs at about 5.7 Sec...well not at the moment with the stock parts on it...but with the other parts it will...

Autospeed:
In factory trim, the 1355kg (2990lb) RS sedan claws its way to 100km/h in 6.8 seconds and passes the quarter mile beams in 14.9 at 148.7km/h (92.5mph).

Obviously, Autospeed's quote is from an Aus-delivered RS. Therefore, my guess is that your car should be doing low to mid 7 seconds over the 0-100km/h. My car (exactly the same, auto, stock) did the 1/4mile in 15.1 @ 91mph

Just to give you an indication (from Motor magazine):
BMW 325Ti, 7.30, 15.40
BMW 540i Sport, 6.75, 14.87
Holden Vectra CDXi (V6), 7.23, 15.22
Jaguar S-Type V8 SE, 7.39, 15.22
Mazda RX-8, 6.99, 15.12

Hope it helps!

firstly, i think my 7250 cut out might have something to say about that

and secondly, with the clutch i had, any more and the clutch would slip, any less and it would bog

hehe, when stock, i could get to 6.6 on the gtech in the wet,. was getting down to low 5's (5.2-5.4)on average with a 5000rpm dump (azenis RT215), went much quicker from the limiter... (+advan 032R). but i havent tried it on the new gearbox so it may be slower now (extra gearchange to 100).
