thanks guys,
i'll wait a couple more week for it to settle down
cost $500 fitted (more expensive in nz) and $100 to roll the back guards

now to upgrade the stock shocks
looking at kyb agx and koni yellows

they tend to do that, where the back sits a bit lower then the front.

RSLegacy90. i'd be careful about 2nd hand Apexi coilovers, as a friend of a friend just bought some, had them in the car for about 2 months. one of the shocks had a nut come loose and the entire thing fell apart. he rang apexi for a replacement coilover and they wanted $1200 for one!!!

just get them checked out carefully!

oooo nice, i think i need to get my guards rolled cause im getting vibration sounds when people are added, soultion no people : >

Did you have to get your rear shocks shortened? i had to , to keep the rear springs captive

yeah they're 17" mags, when i first got the mags i had 45 profile tyres on it and it was rubbing bad around corners.... so i had to go down to 40 series profiles (damn mags place gave me the wrong offset)

but now with the guards rolled/lowered, i had no rubbing.... but dont know if it'll still rub with a full load of people

hey,
i went and booked my car in today to get lowered, just superlows being put in and one place quoted me 560, so i went around the corner to another place and got quoted 330 which was good, also they said they dont make superlows for a liberty so they are using ford telstar fronts and impreza rears, is this what you got told??

This combo does give you the super low look that your after. But remember it's only ever gonna be a look. You are sacrificing ride quality and handling when going that low.

Well.......i paid a visit to bowers suspension yesterday......i now own a gen2 gx wagon and was also told they don't make superlow's for these models.....this is because the housing for the suspension is too shallow...and there is a chance of them slipping whilst turning on a steeper incline than normal.....such as a driveway....i was told pedders make a superlow equivilant but its still advised not to use it.......mmm i dont think ill listen.....i want superlow......can someone with more knowledge give a bit of insight to this matter......

thanks.....
