View Full Version : Any unlucky easterner got hit by the strom?

Was watching the news broadcast on the local channel, saw east side was hit by a storm...and an unlucky wagon (series 2/3) got it's cargo area smashed by tree.

Hope it's not any of the member's car here...

I guess your talking about Sydney or Brisvegas? As its all peachy here in Melbourne. And has been the last few days.

Yup, I think it's in NSW or something...a tree got uprooted, and part of the poor wagon got smashed.

yer been plenty of them in the last few days
i cant count with my fingers how many trees i have removed from roofs, or in roofs since monday :o

thats life for you, havent had any trees on cars this week, prob will with this weather, but driving on flooded roads is fun, water spraying up rally style, atleast the car is getting washed for once

in coffs they have floods atm, well thats what i have heard

yeah there was a squashed lib from coffs with nice looking rims. 17-18". looked like it would have been a nice car b4 the storm

yea it was a silver liberty wagon good dam i hope they had insure :)
alot of rain feel over nite aswell started at 7 didn't stop till 6 this morning most road where flooding out here at penrith :) but still made it to work dam :(

i love driving on flooded roads, with water spraying out from the wheels

if i didnt have awd it would prob be scary having no traction

you can still aquaplane, which is a nice feeling :wink:

Yes, think it's the same Lib wagon I saw on the news...hope it's insured against natural disaster.

Is Sydney raining now? Melbourne is surely 2 seasons, at least, in a day. How about Tas?

It's been raining here in Newcastle since Saturday (16th) just gone and it's still coming down, although they reckon it might clear on Sunday. :D

we have been getting about 75mm each day
read 75mm in the paper, and heard it in the rain, that was for 2 diffrent days

i think our SES unit is getting pretty tired and pushed to its extemes atm, looks like its all over now. thank god
