Fuel?

I've heard from a friend of mine who used to own a beast of an RS, that there is no difference between the fuel at different brand petrol stations.
Like there is no big BP refinery (or whatever you call it, it's a long day here at work and i'm not in the mood for thinking) in Victoria so all their fuel is stuff bought of Shell and another place.... It's different for each state too...

I wasn't sure whether to believe this or not but has anyone else heard anything similar???

i heard for the NT that Bp,Shell, is from somewhere in the tropics up north and that mobil is from south and that is suppost to be the better fuel. Not sure why

AFAIK, BP Ultimate is brewed in Perth....
