Well i lived in Italy for 12 months and did a fair bit of traveling, I would have to say visit Capri for it beautiful beaches as you will be there in late summer, it is off the coast of napels, and you can catch the ferry from naples for like 10 bucks return ( back in 2001) then as RSKY said go along the croatian coastline but if you want to hit it up huge you could go to Spain and go anywhere along the gibralta straits it will have party party in all the tourist towns around there. Austria is really cool as well, good nightlife and probably the best Australiana pub in the entire northern hemisphere!

reggy ive got all of my photos from my trip to europe on CD, so ill bring em then next time im in the gong (next week incidently)

Places which I highly recommend to anyone travelling are:
Paris - the culture shock is unreal and the city itself is fantastic, although dirty
Rome: for same as above
Nice: one of the most scenic places i visited on the coast
Monaco: I can't stres this enough reg, at night you pull up to the casino and if you don't have a million dollar car, you don't park within 5 ks of the casino. Ferrari followed by lambos to porshe...unreal
Switzerland: in particular mt pilatus. its the highest hotel in the world

i also found austria the best place to p a r t a y :D

if you want heaps of women hanging off you and cheap drinks you can't beat barcelona

and finally amsterdamn.... sums it up the best

SHUTUP ALL OF YOU!
I'm seriously close to resigning and following Reggy.

How long you reckon you need in Europe to visit a few countries and enjoy some of the local 'delicacies' 8)
A 4 month holiday might be in order...

Def go and see Amsterdam Reg, cause if you go Europe without going there you really havent sampled the finest have you? Finest weed that is.

İm in Turkey atm, and i gotta be honest, its an incredible country. Going to a Greek İsland next (prolly İos and maybe Santorini) then flying over to Rome, to do as you do when in Rome...

Reg, knowing you, you have to hire a car in Germany and hit the NurburgRing, İ did it for my 25th (a month ago) in a Merc A Class and it was a pisser. Not fast like the Porkers and M3s were but hey i was on a race track, fanging someone elses car.

Belgium, France, Spain are all brilliant places to go, but it all depends on how much you wanna spend on getting around, as Spain is 15 hours by train from Paris, and thats the top of Spain. But it really is worth the trip.

Poland to Germany (the beer is sensational) via the NurburgRing, over to Paris, hey you can even pop over to London if you wanna waste some of your hard earned, then fly to basically anywhere for very little money, as all the cheap flights leave from England. Fly into Amsterdam, fly out (literally) to Barcelona and party till you cant anymore. Thats about a months worth of travel (actually way more).

Theres so much to see here its just not fair. İm doing a 3 month trip, but it may end up beıng more, but we'll see.

prague is one of the most beautiful cities in europe reg.
I lived in paris for 12 months a while ago... and highly recommend it. you can travel around france with very little hassel on the TGV (hi speed train).
make sure you visit versailles and, if you be in france for the beajolais wine festival which is on in september/october its a must.
dave's right about nice, its awesome.
spain was awesome for nightlife... i was in a place called torremolinos (I'll check the spelling) but its full of german & swedish tourists all the time partying nonstop.

if you are over there for part of the winter let me know, and I should be able to organise a place for you to stay in the pyrenees so you can do a spot of skiing.

correct spelling. I was there at the start of last year and it was awesome. I loved the spanish mountains in the south (didn't get to go to the pyrenees), and Barelona was a sweet city. everyone is up til about 4am.

Also went to italy:
verona - nice city if u just want to chill. close to the italian alps
napoli - awesome just to check out the hustle (fat pizza went there this and last week) and u can ferry to sicily and other islands for cheap. also check out pompeii and sorrento (nice beaches) when here.
Rome - go here if u wanna get bored of freakin churches and history. some cool places to see though.
