Local guy, works for a reputable and respected panel shop, charged me $300 to panel beat and spray the 1/4 panel, bumper and spoiler.

colour match isnt perfect, but ive not buffed it yet, what do you lot think? ill take some pics this afternoon that are a bit better.

does $300 include the respray of the rear bar? if so they isnt a bad deal at all.

looks like they did a pretty good job as well.

yes, it did. that costs was all inclusive. i did the rubbing back on the bar and spoiler, and some light rubbing back of the 1/4 as pictured, he finished the 1/4 up after beating it straight. yep, im rapt with the finish..

thanks all, appreciate the comments. A full respray would be nice..guess the colour blend will simply have to be the price i pay for not paying attention coming out the driveway  . as for primer? really dont know, the paint colour seems to be better otr worse depending on where you vierw it, but i cant complain. just washed it, here are the latest pix

Those spotties (foggies) have served very well being on there. Many times they've come on and made driving at night much safer.

cheers guys.

im not sold on the look of the spots, but 100Watt bosch pencils sort of turn night into day...and when you live in skippytown whwere im sure panel beaters sponsor the local roo breeding program, visibility is king :)

obsesd..

id like a S1 RS front bar, just need to justify spending the cash for one..however, unless one comes along at the right price, ill leave it as is.

Some time in the future, i may just swap the rad support panel for a S2 RS and use a S2 front end similar to what youve done. Yours threw me for a little while trying to work out why you had a S1 rear LOL..;)

no need to swap the radiator support man, mine went straight on without too many hassles.

I converted my front bar from the standard Gx 1990 to the Series 1 RS front bar after a minor accident. Same bumper reinforcement. Screws and bolts straight on no problems at all. but you will have to spent another 300 to respray the panel :P

what happened to your GT forester rims? They looked awesome

hey Vincent..

they are in the garage. i may use them again at some stage, one tyre developed a massive delamination, and as they were 215/40/16 very hard size to get, i just bought 17s as they were cheaper than buying four new tyres for the 16's (got them for $800 with brand new RE050 bridgestones on them)

dont think ill sell them as people dont think they are worth anything these days...
