last night i had a few runs with a gtst. i was cruizing with 3 off my mates on ourway to the gong and along the way i got about 5 runs with the r33. this was the first time i have really sort of tryed to launch the car off the line easing the clutch off while increasing revs, i found this to work very well with a stock clutch and gearbox.

I could manage to pull away as soon as the lights went green with out to much effort, buy second gear i would be a car length in front, but as soon as we both hit 3rd it was by by me....

I am going to continue this but vary the revs and see what results i come up with, suited to my set up of course.

I am interested to know what clutch's are used on the rs and whether nor not it made much of a difference oveer the stocker. as i have found the stocker to slip just the right amount yet still take off quite well.

On the track I hope.. hehehe

Ive got a fair few mates with R33 GTST's and Ive manged to keep up with them most of the time.

They have the go up high but I tend to leave them behind from 0 - 100 mainly because they loose traction in 1st and 2nd

its called not enough kw atw :D

by the sounds of it, I'd dare say that if he got his launch right he would be infront in 1st 2nd and 3rd.

once the clutch is engaged fully it has no bearing on speed unless it is slipping. The only factor that utilizes the clutch is take off, and you seems to have got that one down pat. mod time :D
