I finally got the call from Fast Fours that the article is complete.
Car will be in the October issue. The photos Brendon Thorne took are awesome, and you will see just how well the current Liberty GT rims suit the Gen 1.

All the motor parts are ready. Just trying to find time to assemble it.
Should be ready next month 8) .
BTW, just to prove how well made Argo rods are, the new set I got, were the only parts that required NO balance modifications by the engine balancer. All 4 were exactly 609.000grams each.
The same could not be said for the BRAND NEW Subaru EJ25 crank though. It was out by heaps :roll: and is a common reason, so many engine failures occur cause people dont want to spend $250 to get a motor race balanced when building a new motor.

sounds the goods chris...and agree re balancing...I always balance anything that is part of the rotating mass. Makes for peace of mind !

bring on the almighty power of a bullet proof 2.33 subi donk, forget those forget those plastic fantastic STI 2.5 hand grenades, closed decked 2.2 is where its at, the best motor subis ever made, hence the 22B.... looks like Chris will have the right package to shift his RS off the line and make that auto scream for mercy, i think i smell a sub 11sec in the wind.....its all good stuff, cant wait to see the new mag.....

I have seen them on a gen1 lx just the front wheels were the current lib gt rims... they look simply Awsome. They suit the gen 1 so much better than the current models. thats what me za thinks anways :lol:

Chris: Congrats, be interesting to see how well the 2.35L goes. The 3540 will love the extra rpm as well as the torque.

i was pretty stoked when i saw you run a eastern creek and you ran the 11sec bracket. pretty much closed the deal on me buying a rs and now i have, havent looked back best car ever thanx man
