I started my manual and turbo engine conversion late February this year, all the parts were fitted in a week and since then I've been fixing all the broken stuff and sending parts from the half cut back and forth between NSW and QLD. I got the blue slip and stuff today so it's finally legal and I can get insurance and stuff.
Hoorah!!!

I'd like to say a special thanks to the guys at Rolin Automotive Imports for teaching me so much, like how to pull out almost everything in the engine bay and put it back in again, what broken and rusted parts look like and also for teaching me to never buy anything unless all the details of it that you've discussed are in writing.

Now all I need to fix is the knock sensor and IC water pump #3 and I should be right. I got heaps and heaps of help from people on this site so thank you all. When I'm happy with how it's going and I've modified it a bit more I should be on some of the Newcastle and Sydney cruises.

Glad to see all is finally coming to fruition for you!

As for the water pump. Have you looked at getting a replacment one?
Davis Craig make 2 of which the larger one would be the better buy. However the smaller one would be easier to mount and is similar in size to the OEM one. I saw these at bursons and very nearly bought one myself. I think the smaller one is about 200ish.

Congrats that it's complete!
Must be a great feeling after 6 months of hard work and bit of stuffing about with various parts and dodgy re-sellers!

Nope. Learnt a hell of a lot.

Now I've just got to get together about $15 000 for a VF34, 550ccs, ECU, coilovers, swaybars and a gearbox.
