Some of the members might have good experience with them however mine's not good at all. I was trying to order some brake pads for my mate's 300ZX, R33 GTS and my own GX. Went on the web site last Thursday, choose those pads and at the time I almost press the proceed button on the credit card verification screen, I found that the postage calculated was wrong (supposed to be $10/$20 for 2/5 items Australia wide) however it shows as $60 for shipping for all 6 sets. Rang up at about 3pm and was asked to leave the name and phone number so that they can get me back in a few minutes. Rang up again at 4:30pm (supposed to be 5pm in eastern states) and they said they're very busy at that moment and would ring me back on Friday.
Friday 12pm they rang me up, asking what sorta brake pads did I order. When I was going thru my list halfway, they interrupted me and said they'll check it again and ring me back again in a moment. As I want them this week so I rang them up again at 2pm and ask if it's possible that I save the fax order form in MS Word format and type in the appropriate details, email them so that they can put thru the order as a fax order. They said "yeh that's fine do it now" so I did it and on the email I asked them to send me an email or ring me up to confirm the order.
Wait until 12pm Monday morning, I rang up again. The same guy answer the phone however after I mention the email he asked for my name and phone again and said they'll ring me back shortly. I'm real pissed so I rock up to a few local autopart shops and got some quote. Finally got to a shop which is doing the pads cheaper than them (coz it cost an extra $5 for every set of pads bought from discpads.com). Ordered them straight away and uptil now, no one from discpads.com have ever ring me back......Although the credit card details's on the fax order form, they won't be able to put thru the order anymore coz the account balance is not high enough......

sounded like they really wanted your business. Dont you hate that, their in the customer service business but have no idea on how to provide it.

thats absolutely awful. I've only had good experiences with these guys but I live 15mins up the road so I've always e-mailed my order and picked it up. I have notice their prices vary from their website a lot, but its usually down in price.
They are actually a spare parts business for trucks mainly, prehaps another company paying people one salary to do two jobs

Thats unlucky, but make sure htey dont bill you. Sometimes it will go through anyway and just overdraw the account. I used my card at Autobarn yesterday and they guy hit credit before asking me and i said i would use eftpos. But it went through anyway. and now im just over my limit.. doesnt matter for me as i know. Just check they dont do it to you.

Cheers

1. It's a Visa debit card, that means no money = no access
2. They finally ring up this afternoon (it takes 4 days all up just to put thru the order of 6 sets of brake pads)......I said it's too late coz I've ordered from somewhere else and cancel the order......

End of story. Conclusion: I will not order anything from them anymore.

Yeah I must admit I have ordered from them twice now and everything has been painless and the prices cheaper than I have been able to find anywhere else. It just goes to show that some of these internet business really aren't geared up for customer service in the event of something going outside of the norm. If I were you I probably wouldn't deal with them either. Thats sort of how I feel with Mercury Motorsport when they couldn't dyno my car and said they would call etc etc never did, I chased them and left messages and they never got back to me. I found out today that the owner is actually a mate of a mates and apparently a really good bloke and sometimes **** just happens I guess.....
