Just a public thankyou to graham aka Gradg for all his help on sunday removing the worlds most shagged hub from my car and helping putting the new one on :)
Several hours, two cross threaded bolts, a painful swaybar and plenty of "terror sweat" later it was all completed.
Graham went above and beyond the call to help me get back on the road.
Thanks again mate.
You are a legend!
Cheers,
Craig.

I want to hear more about this shagged hub. I have two hubs sitting in the bush in my backyard after I threw them there because the driveshaft WOULD NOT come out of them. One just wouldn't slide out (even in a huge mofo of a press - bent the hub) and the other one broke two expensive breaker bars tyring to get the nut undone and my compressor is too small to give a rattle gun enough power to get something like that off.
Hearing that other people have these problems makes me less paranoid that god hates me.

God hates you because God is a lesbian man-hater filled with hate, p1ss and vinegar. She used to be just filled with hate and p1ss..

Rallyee - The chrome collar around the bearing had actually grabbed and stripped itself to pieces leaving nothing between the bearing and the hub inner.
As gradg can attest to, the bearing and the splines actually moved in and out of the hub centre by a good 20-25cms!!
Not fun when trying to turn corners :D
Craig.
