White stripe came on a few cars. Came on my sedan, and yes...it does make your car go faster!

Pic is a more reasonable size now!

Hi Guys,

Yes it's true, that is my ride.

Thanks to cray- for the head's up.

Well I guess that was my fifteen minutes of mag fame ... in my eyes anyways ha ha.

True to what cray- has posted, i am based in London, UK at the moment for work and some travelling and am a part-timer on uklegacy.com under the same username Risky RS.

That mag pic was taken pretty soon after I got the car , buy my mum and dad, when it was fairly stock back in late 2000.
At that point it had 150kms on original running gear and only had the exhaust mentioned in the pic done as mods. Paid $16K for it back then, which i still think given the KMS and condition it was in, was well worth it.

Sold my VK Calais to part fund the RS and have never looked back.
I needed a bigger car to carry my drumkit and to work out of ( i'm an electrician ) from time to time .
Needless to say i could get all the drums and PA gear in the RS ( no passengers tho Ha Ha ) and could fit a 6 foot ladder and tools in the back with the split fold seet setup.

I must say cheers to one Dean Bailey for getting me into rallying and seeing the Herridge RS's at events in WA which then led me to track down some info on the "elusive" RS wagon.

Well , it pretty much looks like the mag shots still, less the go fast stripes , as they were begining to come off anyways.
It still rolls on the same wheels , kept the original look about it, but a few tasty parts have been sourced over here in the UK ( parts are so much cheaper, it's just getting them back to perth that does your head in ) and some nice mods will be happening when i return permanently .

While I was using it as a daily driver up until late 2004, i did do a few things to it mainly in the ways of ALK, strut brace, A/M BOV , ICE , boost gauge, POD CAI with A/M resonator mod , Bosch Coils/Top Gun leads mod ,uprated brake pads/discs and Fault Code switches , so really nothing to write home about, but the car was as relibale as it need be considering it was at 225kms when put up on blocks and covered over ( it looks like the de lorean from BTTF 3 when Marty finds it in the cave !!! ) . My Dad hooked me up with some nice custom fitted covers and it now has a light layer of dust covering it to boot.

All in all, a great car that took the best part of 12 months+ to source and has not caused me to many issues at all.

I really look forward to coming back to OZ and setting up the car for another 10 years service ( hopefully ), not to mention cruising with Perth RSLC .

Not sure how to load up pics onto this site, but I do have a few shots of the car from Feb/Mar Kalamunda to the coast cruise and some of it all wrapped up.
If you know how to add them , let me know.

All The Best ,

Brad Herbert
