All the work done on my car was done by my mate kirk.

Started off with a 96 RA half cut with around 90,000ks on it.
Added to this was a KKR-430 turbo (cheap as chips, thanks to russ for more or less paying for this :P)
This meant custom up pipe, custom down pipe and custom work to add on the 38mm Tial Wastegate.
600x300x100 (maybe 380?) FMIC was then put in, without loss of the foglights, the loss of these was due to my smash and crash. 3" coldside and i think 2.5" hotside, courtesy of kirk.
Custom parrallel fuel rails were made up by kirk that look the ****.
Custom 3" turbo back exhaust also done by kirk, comes free of a cat which will get sorted at some stage.
550cc injectors, walkbro fuel pump (dave installed this so i pray every night that it wont blow up).
Added on a few lil bits and pieces like a turbo timer, boost guage and dual stage boost controller (kirk had one laying round)
This is all run by an LT10 Microtec

Very tidy. Nice work.

How's your engineer feel about using a 96 engine in a gen3?

Pics of car itself?

Engineer will have no issues aslong as it passes emissions. In theory, but i guess we will see.

Heh completely forgot to take pics of the actual car, will get them sorted tonight

I have driven the car and it goes like stink when its on boost. Very impressed with the kkr for the price you pay. The lag is not that bad either, full boost is reached just shy of 4000rpm and holds it hard through till the redline.

Some suspension upgrades and it will be a sweet overall package cam

Light was fair shyt when i ended up getting home from work and the pics turned out crap so im going to get some better ones and will throw them up. Doesnt help when the rest of the car looks like shyt, i thought crashing it would be fun so the rear bar is screwed and the windscreen is cracked. Will be getting them both fixed soon.
Dave is right full boost just before 4000 then more or less snaps the taco, is a good feeling and damn happy with the KKR. Suspension will definately need to be done, she squats when boost comes on and it just doesnt feel right.
So yeah there are a few more things that need to be fixed up and sorted but damn happy with it

The kkr turbos are from OTOMOTO in rydalmere aren't they???? IF thats the same one im thinking about then its not a ball bearing, but a bush?? Yep just checked the website. $829 for the KKR 430. Nice turbo for the price then. www.otomoto.com.au

Hahaha both are on the cards boys, slowly getting some money together for the block and gearbox but i keep spending all my money on alcohol.

Hell im just proud that im finally getting my suspension sorted out and my tyre fixed hahahaha. One day should probably look at the rear bar to but racing tape is tremendous.

KKR is definately still holding up well, havent had a single problem with it after a year of no bov and a lead foot.

i gotta say, that turbo install is wicked! top work!! full credit to the bloke(s) who were responsible.

on the subject of being poor due to drinking....... i had to basically stop going out for a year to save for the deposit on my house! that was a hard 12 months!!
