Just a quick one guys. am trying to bring a turbo over from nz for a mate and was quoted 100 dollars shipping. Has anyone had a price near this or can recommend a cheaper service from there.
Im trying to chase up a few places now but any help would be appreciated.

That actually seems pretty reasonable for a turbo, given it's weight. NZ isn't *that* close :D

thats a good price you got quoted, i have purchased a few small boxes of bits and pieces from NZ before..... works out good usually dependant on exchange rate......

Must the time for the annual migration of parts from NZ!!
Im currently organising transfer of funds for a TD05H from NZ to Canberra. The seller stated $50.00 NZD to get it here air frieght. Turns out he under quoted himself, so expect above that.

Couple of weeks ago, I got a pair of black rear bumper lips sent over via NZ Post....cost me NZ$20 in freight, but the stamp said $17.xx
If it goes by weight then a turbo is obviously a prob compared to the lips, but the lips ain't small.....

OT, i sent some alcohol back from NZ when we were over there on holidays (it was expensive stuff we were given, but didn't want to waste our duty free quota on it. Two bottles $30nz. Then the f'ers at customs wanted to charge $35 in duty and gst. Told em they could keep it. So they returned it to sender, which was my gf's address in Brisbane. The idiots sent it straight to her. No duty charges or gst. Fools.

hahah good score there nick, for a turbo i'd say about $100 is reasonable.
