Well bored shitless at work as we are moving and all my **** is packed up so figured id just throw up some pretty pictures and a breif run down of what should be happening over the next year or two (the joys of being poor).
Basically looking to build a EJ25 that is the usual closed and sleeved with forged rods and pistons, balanced and blue printed.
Going to throw on a great big dirty turbo, a GT-K 850 should do the job
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/veroja/GT-K_turboangle.jpg
Going to find a set of 98 heads, have them port and polished with new cams and cam gears.
http://www.junauto.co.jp/products/cylinderhead-part/camshaft/camshaft-ej20.html?en
a set of 68 (272) duration cams should do the trick with adjustable gears.
Throw in new valve springs and retainers, along with a lightened fly wheel and hopefully the EJ25 should push out a nice bit of rpm.
With a ppg 1-4 straightcut set to push it all to the wheels.
After that its onto the interior and exterior.

Nrgize, it pulled 230kw at the rears, but could do with a retune and a bit more boost.
As mick put it, my tune is a bit of a dogs breakfast

I'm interested to know how it is set up to have RWD. Is it a permanent thing or are you just talking about DCCD in open, in which case how did you make this work as RWD on the dyno?
Low Tech
26th February 2007, 11:31 AM
Just to clear things up, it is currently AWD and will be for a long time.
My mate that did all the work on my car just happened to have a RWD box he had made lieing round that he put in to get the car tuned
