This is my ride and has been for 5 years this easter. Time flys and its been a ride to say the least I would say there is more bad times than good ones with its age and things breaking but we are near the end of it with everything nearly replaced or repaired.

Lots have seen it but not many lately. Whats to be done in the future. Prob another gearbox but def another engine with its 130,000k RS legacy motor suffering the same problems as the last. The subaru tappet rattle. So xmas this year will bring a motor change for xmas and its 300,000k service.

Beautiful Car Doug. I fell in love with it the first time I laid eyes on it when we pulled out Leo's old motor out.

I'm glad you held onto it!

Yeah I was for half then you were behind me for half. Imagine what its like now with the 280,000 suspension in the bin.

seeing as i'm being forced (by the evil FHI gods) to fix all my suspension issues, i don't need to imagine, makes the car SO much better (and faster) to drive with new suspension bits

WRX one from ebay. $60 from memory. You need to take about 3mm out of the body work where the brakets poke through. No biggy when you see what I mean.

Didn't even see you. Don't even remember a wagon. Was it quiet that day? I was taking the shortcut off the M5 then back on at the new ingleburn entry.

I wanted to ask someone, Doug, looks like you're the best one to ask.

That phantom boost gauge. Whats visibility at night like with it? I have a black faced Pro Comp, and I'm not liking it. I was just wondering if the Phantom 2 5/8" series is worth upgrading to.

cheers

Yeah its good. I have the green cover over the globe and it looks like the lights in the dash. I think its easier to see than black even in the day. But I have never had a black one either.
