Hey Guys,
These are some pics of my libertys.
The first one I bought is the 00 Liberty RX,which is the wifes car, which I got to pay for and wash on a regular basis. It's totally stock condition but includes a set of pink playboy seat covers.http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l18/claydog_01/000_0364.jpgNext is my 93 Aus Del Liberty RS not many mods yet but I'm working on it.http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l18/claydog_01/100_0134.jpg

Having never owned a Subaru until a couple of years ago,all my cars before that were Holdens,a V8 HQ Premeir, mint stock VC V8 SLE Commodore and a VP Commodore (Ex Highway Patrol)were a few good ones amongst the 11 cars that I've previously owned.
I wish someone would have told me about the Subaru secret years ago.Cheers,Craig.

Well have finally got the RS going again, has been about 3 long months.
The list of mods kept getting longer after each weekend it sat in the shed.
So now it has:3"TBE,TD05h,Exhaust Headers(unknown brand),Walbro fuel pump,Parralel fuel rails,Sard reg,OCC blocked the PCV valve, disconnected and blocked the under manifold coolant lines that run through IACV to T/B.various other little bits n pieces(thanks Markmcrs), 99 LIBERTY RX 4.11 Gearbox n Diff ,And "Fatsport" chip.
Now this is where it gets scary, the Fatsport chip is supposed to limit boost to 17psi but on 2nd test drive boost went up to and over 20psi (S**t pants),which I sure is not doing the engine any good?
Your thoughts??????????????

OK update on the above^^^^^^^^
Set fuel pressure to 3bar vaccum disconnected, thanks to a Adrian Vos thread.
(which ends up being 36 psi vaccum line attached)
Also was having probs with IACV,so replaced with the one on the other manifold I have in the shed. All Cool.
Still seems to be going over boost for some reason. Can't seem to find out much info on the Fatsport chip.
So I think it's about time for a EBC. Apexi AVCR I'm thinking.

Holden are making some nice cars nowdays, but there is only one I want: 1969 HT Premier.
Also wouldn't mind doing a G1S2 Liberty S/ST dragcar, still looking for right body at the right price.

yeh my mate recently build an old skool HQ- spent $14k though his high school life perfectly it, drove it for 7 weeks, fuel line popped off, caught on fire- the end..
yeh i agree holden are making some nice SS and HSV models lately but the fuel bill would definately kill the average joes pocket especially if they give it a floggin :)
cheers

1st August 2008, 11:03 AM
Hey Karlos, you could say I like em yeah.
As I have said through the posts,I have only just got into them over the last 4 or so years.
XT is beautifull, amazing what a set of tyres does, the OE yokohama were sh1thouse got goodyear excellence on it now, what a diffrence.
The RS has been great for learning and I'm keen to do a super street dragcar.(another body)not the RS.
Most of my mates up here have v8 ford/holdens running in that class, there is only 1 jap car that runs regular,a soarer see below::: http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/285/250244.html?1211618104
Jeffs car is awesome,he drives to work in it every day.he was also a bugeye owner before the soarer.
And Michelle's RX Lib is great,my daughter dances a lot, which means lots of travelling so I know they are safe when they go away.
Cheers!!

Here is a pic of new bumper support I have made to fit in the new frontmount intercooler.
http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l18/claydog_01/100_0514.jpg
This one is for the driverside and will be welded to 3mm flat bar to support the bumperskin just like original bumper support. Also retains the foglights. Will take more pics when I finish the passenger side and top bar.
Cheers,
Craig.
