hey guys, just wondering where can i get my afrs checked in sydney for minimal cost. I want to know a safe boost level to run with the gtps01 with standard injectors, the car has a vos chip in it, but im currently using a gfb bleed valve to regulate at 14 psi.

just want to know if I can go higher without leaning out.

any help appreciated fella's

ohh and umm if anyone knows a good paint shop that does good work and wont kill my bank acount feel free to chuck that in here too. (apprenticeship wages are a little hard to do much with)

dyno run will cost you anywhere between $50 and $100

i got mine done at silverwater autosports but not a big fan of their service, just ring around a few places that have AWD dynos

if any blokes on here say a place is good mi inclined to believe them so figured here was a good place to start lol. anyone know of places that have awd dynos. my work is around the corner from advan performance and even closer to croydon racing. but yeah those places are top notch pros it would cost too much lol

nope! you have to calibrate it anyway

i wouldn't be running anymore than 15psi with standard injectors

other options is to ring some work shops and see if the will road tune it using a wideband

jaycar AFR meter really won't help you at all. I wouldn't worry too much about the reputation of the workshop you are going to - as long as they have a wideband and give you a printout, just go for the cheapest/easiest.

looked at the jaycar website and it says the digital meter works from 11.8 to 20.6. my car is vos equipped so should be running 11.5:1. What is the difference between wideband and narrow (noob question) just it says the digital one can be connected to a wideband controller.

You have to get the jaycar one calibrated so you need a dyno run to do it. VOS chips run 16-17psi standard with the VF12. Mines been in for 3 years now and nothing has gone bang.

for a respray queen st quouted me $3000 for candy blue respray from the stock grey.... but thats because my mate is sponsered by them....
it all depends if its a different colour, if you want the imperfections removed, painting the engine bay and painting door jams...
its best 2 pay the extra money so it will end up being a nice job

I have a gtps01 turbs now had a vf23 on the vos 17psi. loved it. but since changing turbos and readin all the many many different flow rates for turbos I installed a bleed valve keeping vos on but regulate boost so as to not lean out. It seems ill have to dyno it to get a good idea of how much the 380's can take.
