UPDATE: New Pictures!!!

Hey all

Just found this section, and thought I'd start a thread.

I like seeing how the car progresses over time, so I'll post from start to current!

Specifications
Year: 1992
Make: Subaru
Model: Liberty GX (Series II)
Colour: Metallic Gold
Drive: FWD
Engine: EJ22 SOHC
Power: 100kw/189nM

Modifications
* Personalised Plates
* 16" WRX Wheels (painted black with polished lip)
* 205/50 R16 Bridgestone Potenza GIII
* Colour coded side strips
* Debadged/De-mudflapped :P
* Davies Craig Transmission Cooler
* Replaced G'Box (done) + Engine (this week)
* Sony MP3 HU + 6" Rear Speakers
* Peashooter -> Twin 2.5" tips -> 4" titanium-tipped cannon muffler (stock item has a massive hole and sounded like a tractor)
* Lowering (to be done, needs it badly!)

Summary
I bought the car in September last year to upgrade from my old TwinCam Corolla. The car was owner by an elderly couple, and in very good condition. The only catch, was that it had 306xxx kms. Seeing how it was in such great condition, I thought it wouldn't matter at all. How wrong I was! Since purchase, the G'Box has died and now the engine has spun a bearing. Luckily, I have taught myself how to repair my cars, so in went a fresh gearbox with 197xxx kms, and I am now switching in a new EJ22 with only 119,768 km. Anyway, here is the transformation!

* Bare with the photo quality, all pics have been taken with a camera phone! :td

Thanks all! Engine replacement is coming along nicely. Old engine has been removed, and engine bay is empty. New engine gets picked up tomorrow thanks to RSLC member 'Skippy' @ All Things Subaru, Lawnton. Also picked up my new camera off lay-by today, so I can get some good quality pictures up soon. Managed to get one of my modified grill, thanks to the examples of other members. I'll update again when the car is running, and I can get some good photos.

Yeah mate, I painted the WRX wheels gloss black when the gearbox was out! I then hit the lip with a tube of Autosol. Suits the theme better than the grey ones did :D Just needs some lowering action!
