My liberty has been off the road for some time now, It is a 92 liberty wagon with an auto turbo conversion.. i had some crazy issues with getting it running right....... (cant be botherd explaining)
However...
I just purchased a WRX front cut.... So now the fun starts
When im finished it will have this
rexy motor, and manaul box
Heavy duty clutch
FMIC
vf22
Microtech lt10s
yellow top 440 injectors
Headers to 3" exhuast
3" dump pipe
Coil overs
4 pots
Im not just gonna slap in the wrx engine as is, im am going to use a twin turbo manifold, just for something different.
So far i have everything i need except for the injectors and the dump pipe, so if anyone can help me out here that would be great...

how come your going with the TT manifold? besides doing something different

My friend has used pretty much all the manifolds on his with the same setup, and he thinks that the TT is the best, and he has a spare one ...

hey rhys
i dont see whats better on the twin turbo manifold to the rs manifold. i run a rs one works great. since u have mircotech u can run any manifold u want as u wire in your sensors to suit. The only advantage i see with the twin turbo manifold is u can use the front entry to the turbo.
well good luck with it

With a bit of thought you can use the straight entry onto the turbo while still using the RS manifold...

It would be intesting to try the spacers that some of the early rally cars used.... 25mm I think. Maybe if I get back around to fiddling with my car.

but also best to change to uner manifold power steering pump too cos they are shaped differently and allow more area for intake.
but does he mean tt intake manifold or exhaust manifold?

Intake manifold I'm assuming Brad, as hes running a VF22. Can't see him running Twin VF22 *cough* lag monster *cough*

yeah i know but using a tt intake manifold sounded silly, i guess he wants it for the under manifold intake which makes sense cos IMHO it looks far neater!

TT manifold = longer runners = more torque.

anyone try plumbing intercooler piping off the turbo for a front mount under one of those manifolds? I have a spare V3 intake i might try with, but the spacers sound interesting to give the stock manifold some longer runners . Would make it larger than the later model intakes?

the TT manifold has more of a trumpet, and sits a bit higher
