Conversion guys abit of help please.

Ok so this kind of goes out to all the boys that have done conversions, im just wondering as my car has airbags and say the front cut i get doesn't will this affect it in any way???? i understand how the airbags work with the sensors and the box behind the dash but..... is it something more with the ecu??? and with the cluster there is an airbag light on there im wondering if it's all going to effect it???? help please

Is it going into a 2GEN?

If you were still looking at Als work on callans car, all of the wiring he does should have included the airbags, as far as i am aware they run on a separate computer system.

Should be sweet if the conversion has been done properly.

Timmo, I think he meant crash safety airbags (ie: the old exploding pillows)

yeah most likely going to get callens car, im just making sure everything is going to work!!! nah i want to keep the airbags as they have been fine and if they do stuff up they most likely wont be fixed, and yes the car is a GEN 2...
im just hoping all this goes smoothly....

nah that picture is pretty hopeless as you can tell, i just like the sceneary :P i will put a new one when the car is finished i need to get the new front bar painted and mostlikly a bonnet 2...
