alright well this saga of my engine rebuild is continuing... i was hoping to be finished in 3 days but then Subaru decided to only send 1 head gasket.... so i had to wait over the weekend, and then a couple of bolts decided to shear themselves off in the engine... so i've finally got them out, but the rest of the bolts look a bit didge, so i ordered all new rocker cover bolts from subaru yesterday and today they inform me that there are none of the short ones in Australia so i have to wait at least 2 weeks before i can get them from japan....

so i was wondering if anyone has a wrecked motor or something lying around that i can grab 4 rocker cover bolts from?? i near the rear ones which are the shorter ones. and my car is a 92 RS.

let me know ASAP. i can come pick them up around melbourne, i just want to get my engine back in today.

Try wreckers, I know SunSpares had a heap of them when I asked.

thanks guys. Yeah i tried a few wreckers but they were rebuilding the engines so they needed them.
Went out to URD and talked to Tony and he gave them to me. Also gave me a shaft to line up the clutch properly. Great guy

got it all sorted... and everythign back together... but now there's white smoke still so i'd say the bottom end needs machining.... car now goes into storage....
