sweet ride man.

any issues with scrubbing on the rears?

JESTER86
7th May 2007, 09:27 PM
no issues what so ever! have had it with a full carload and boot load, wheels tucked well in guards with not a single nic on a 4 hour trip, standard camber setup and all.

it is close but not an issue

cool. im going low's in the back at the end of the week, i think the offset of my wheels is wrong tho. having said that, with superlows it only scrubs when i hit corners hard.

those wheels are teh sex on that car too!

For the record: WRX king lows in rear, Lib king lows front.
the first 2 pics are how it sits now with the king springs, the other 2 pics where when the coilovers where in (front is lower then, and had loads more (-) camber on the front)

Yup, still highly rate this car. Clean, simple lines = teh hotness!! ;)
Plus i'm also a fan of the Legacy front and rear and just the fact it's silver. :D Nice work man.

i myself have a series1 and cant wait to get the money to fix her up more, but yer very nice and very clean, good showing of a series1 as they are sorta of becoming harder to find a decent one anymore...

i got WRX king lows in the front of my gen2. i did have WRX superlows in the back (for all of one day) but that was way way to low.

i just got quoted at $175 for new lowered rears today. does that seem right?

I really like this car - a stupidly dark tint would be perfect visually, but you gotta make compromises if you actually want to drive the thing I guess :)

Need some 4 pots to keep the wrx wheels company :)

I agree. 5% tints would be awesome. don't listen to any other Nancys - its fine to drive in :)

well its been a long time folks i know..... Good news is a close mate of mine in perth bought my lib and is loving it! taking great care of it which im happy about so if any of you perth guys see it around be sure to ntroduce yourself to Phil :)

Im now driving a vr commodore ute. Consists of a 5ltr, 5 speed manual, ceramic clutch, polished 18's, lowered with no kit and a mini spooled diff with 3.45 gears. I'm building up a mild stroker for it as we speak witch will hopefully get me into the 300hp mark.

When more money comes my way i wanna get a gen 3 turbo wagon as a daily as the utes only going to get wilder as the years progress.....

Oh I broke my neck the day after australia day, thankfully no spinal damage was done so im still walking! Broke 3 vertebre in my neck and dislocated one, now hav a titanium plate in my neck holding it all together, recovery is coming well hopefully i will be back at work in the next month.

BUGGER!! Sorry to hear about your neck champ, but at the same time good to hear your ok, relatively speaking.

Glad your cars gone to someone who will look after it. I was always a big big fan of your ride. :)
