She's going in for some open heart surgery next week...... the inlet manifold will be raised to allow the inlet to come towards the front of the car - That should tidy it up a bit...

fark. nice work, you've been busy!

i've got the same brembo's on my RS wagon too. they're a radial mount 'lotus' style caliper correct?

which injectors are you running? looks like you've kept the RS manifold, so are they drop in 550's?

thank you Gentlemen

The Brembos - I'm not entirely sure if they are the Lotus style......

I've had the for about 4 years......... I understand they are the slightly smaller version..... but Lotus was never mentioned when purchased..... jsut the price.. LOL

I've still got the Phase 1 Manifold.... the Injectors are for a Phase 2, so I had to have a set of adaptors...

It looks like the top half of a Version 6 Sti wing.

oooppsss sorry... missed that one

Not sure to be honest..... :s

I bought it off a fellow Legacy owner that stated that it fitted the bootlid snugly !!

I fancied a change... so had it......

I'm toying with the idea of removing it for a bit to see if I like it without it...

these are the suckers i've got - as part of this kit (http://www.autocarparts.com/part/194/747/)

http://www.brembo.com/CatalogoHPGT/DetailPages/Foto%5CC3.jpg

i didn't pay any where near that price though! :D they were secondhand, with cut brake lines....

i believe they're called a 'lotus style caliper' - this helps when you're trying to buy new pads. i'm not sure, but i thing there are only 4-5 different caliper styles. the lotus style is a radial mount - meaning they make mounts to suit the application.

i particularly like this bit:

All Brembo high performance brake systems are ABS compatible and retain the stock master cylinder. i can confirm that the ABS kicked in on my wagon at the top of the hillclimb i was competing in on sunday. I kinda ran out of road.... :P

here is a link for new brembo slotted rotor rings (http://www.racingbrake.com/Rotor_Rings_s/4355.htm) if yours are worn out, seemed like a pretty handy price for brembo gear. mine are cross drilled and were pretty worn when i got them, now they've started cracking around the holes...
