A very big hello to all on the forum! :D
I bought a 91 RS Turbo soon after moving to Brisbane, and so far I'm pretty impressed by it, being my first Subaru.
I'd appreciate any help and advice on what the best route/s to go are for upgrades like suspension, exhaust, engine (be it cheap or mega expensive), brakes etc, and also seats as the fronts have seen better days.
Many thanks in advance! :tu

There are pages and pages of info and examples of differently modded RS', take a peek through the members rides sections and have a look at the way people go as far as those mods go, and waht the car is used for :)
You will soon get a fair idea of what you want yours to look like.
Congrats on the purchase, and welcome.

Welcome.
Even better than STI suspension parts, whiteline the whole car and it will handle like a gokart.
Bolt a VF24 on there and add some WRX seats and she'll be a ripper.

Howdy.
Best piece of advice that anyone here can give you is to simply do your research before you spend a cent. You can spend a LOT of money on it and get a certain level of performnce, but if you do your research properly, then that same perfomance level can be achieved with much fewer dollars.
PS. Use the SEARCH function too.

personally i would check the whole car out first..
make sure suspension components are in good order, bushes, shockies, steering rack etc..
and yea the engine isn't fubbared or anything stupid.. water to air intercooler if it's still got it, make sure the water pump is running ok. and yea BHGs in these cars do happen, especially considering its age.. but very well hidden and not noticable as they can keep running for very long periods even with BHGs as long as it doesn't overheat
car is getting old.. i'd check out what needs to be done first and replace that with better parts, before throwing money on stuff that you don't need and later running out of money for things that you really need. but yea if you've got the coin go crazy, they are a good car :)
