Hey guys,
My name's Scott, i live in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane and i have recently upgraded to a turbo liberty. It's a bit of a step up from my old pulsar. Since ive owned it, i've spent a fair bit of money getting it all road worthy and mod plated in QLD so thats taken up most of my money.
Mods are as follows, Black hybrid FMIC, turbosmart boost controller and BOV, 3" turbo back exhaust with Xforce cannon, upgraded fuel pump, bigger injectors, and a stinger EMS. Running 10psi and has 156kw atw at last dyno.
Its lowered and has a set of wrx 16s which i recently painted gold, i also have a set of 17s, but one wheel is bent and needs to be fixed.

In some of the pics below, you can see the wrx rims in thier original colour(black) and the front wheels are the 17s.

These are some pics

thanks mate, i don't think i would paint the other set gold, one is enough, but gunmetal would certainly look good

Love the colour combo!! welcome aboard.

P.S needs more boost..15-16PSI then you'll be even happier!! Should push up to 180KW+ with "bigger injectors" that are already fitted

cheers mate,
yeh i will eventually crank up the boost, but at the moment i have really low compression is one cylinder, so i need to get that all fixed first, does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be??3 cylinders are at 150 and one is at 75. will this be expensive to fix?
thanks guys

AFAIK set of rings and a re bore to fix the drop in compression. its labour thats the killer

it depends on the reason for the low comp, it could be rings, broken piston, burned/damaged valve, head gasket(prob not, you would have other symptoms) etc...

Im in the western suburbs, kenmore area, if thats where you think you saw me, pretty high chance it was me.

Cheers for the comments.
As for the compression problem, dad and i were fiddling in the engine bay and there was a semi loose bolt on the head that compressions were low in, tightened that up, and since then i havent had a problem, so there would have been little seal meaning lose of compression. So yeh, shes up and running well now, but still needs a little bit of a tune.

So now i have more issues. Seems to be that i have a blown head gasket. Shes going into the shop on tuesday morning, i just hope its going to be fixed for a long time, the joy of owning this car isnt living up to what i had imagined.
