Hey guys..

My names Aron..been driving a NA liberty for a while and been looking at a few RS' I found one i'm pretty keen on..93, stock as a rock an kept in real good nick. It has 290,000 ks on the clock..spoken to a few different people everyone who doesn drive an EJ said ill be right but everyone else rkns to keep clear.

What do you guys think? Its average Ks for the year and hasn't been modified...

I don't think the km's are much of an issue, it certainly wouldn't bother me, especially if your mechanically minded and can do an engine swap yourself.

You can pick up EJ motors for not alot these days.

The question is if you buy the unmodded one will you modify it??
If so you may as well buy one that already has some goodies on it,kms are fine it's only 20 000/year as long it has been serviced regularly.

buying stock is the way to go :)

then you can mod the way you want and you know its done properly, unlike some modded cars were people tend to be careless with mods. also doing it yourself is fun and you learn :)

and those k's aren't that high i bought mine with 307thousand on it now has 320thousand on it and i have done a few mods to it myself and no serious issues.

yeh buy a modded car is good... you can always swap and sells the parts you dont' want and put your own goodies on there.. and you do learn alot by having a fiddle and doing things yourself
i didn't have much idea bout cars but have learned a heap off this site, and even more about sensible mods with a budget

mate the km are pretty good, rec01l has a wagon that clocked 480 isn k km on the stock ej before we changed it, and for no reason really, we just had a low km engine sitting there.
stock is the way to go, drive it for a bit. then put a later model wrx (or gtb leggy) engine in there and you will be sweet. welcome also ;)

Buy mine! lol, i want to buy a house :-)
You can buy a stock one, and pretty much take it down that same path as all others anyways.. mine has 193k on it - i want a house :-)
Next mod i was going to do was a FMIC, but i think i want it gone now, so well see
