My name is Peze im a new RS Owner and i must say its a change from all the rear wheel drive cars iv had and still have.. The grip is amazing not like my old KE 30 Corolla that had a SR20 turbo convo... 1,2,3, no grip but it was fun... ran a 12.4 but sold it to get this rs...

i have another project besides this rs i have a 1985 Crassida (Mint Condition) got it off a old lady that had it from new. Im thinking of putting in a 1JZ twin turbo or a 4L 1UZ also from a the toyota family and turboing that.



i have read alot of your threads and have noticed that if i were to keep this 2L il get a max power of 175 to 180KW anymore its called a happy dyno, well thats what i have read.

so in saying that yes i would like to keep it a 2L for now..

Mods on the car are as follows. TBE, fuel pump, 2 stage boost controller, light weight wheels and suspention. (dont know what type but it does handle well, but in saying this, this is my first 4wheel drive so have nothing to compare it with.

how's it goin ? yeh post some pics of your RS up mate.... isn't 180-190 atw enough :eek: ... i've been in some cars with that power and it seems any more would be a impractical for a daily driver :)

Il try and put up some pics 2morrow. I do agree with you for a evey day car you wouldnt want more than that but each to there own i guess.

and some or should i say most guys that have our cars do the conversion of 2.5 which can make big power. i have read some threads from a guy by the name of mark has a really quick rs with 11sec. Now thats quick for a 4wheel drive car, very quick

have a look at a guy with a GEN2 lib called Sleeper, his name is Scooby85.. if you type that in the search function you can probs find his car......it's a 2.5L donk with all the best bits, and it absolutely rapes, the day after i had chronic whiplash and was partially deaf :)

200 ATW is achievable and can still be daily driven. If you have an adjustable boost controller you can also tame your car for daily driving if you wanted too. Raz's stock 2L engine lasted a fair while with north of 200 ATW so reliability doesn't seem to be greatly reduced, but it would depend on how you drive and maintain it.
