Heard about this place on NASIOC. I just bought a '91 Legacy Turbo to replace my '90 BMW 325i, and coming from e30 forums, Legacy forums move extremely slow, so I'm trying to get all the resources I can.

Anyways, here's what I just bought, should have some better pictures when I go up skiing this weekend, but for now these are all I got :

No big plans for this car, I'm a poor college student now, so I can't just dump money into it like I did with my e30.

It's in great shape overall, 137k miles, 5 speed, has a few minor issues like a leaky sunroof(hard to get myself to do something about it in 25 degree weather) and a cracked windshield, but overall it's surprisingly well kept. All records since new, never even been registered out of the county, two owner but the second one bought it in June 2008. Everything is stock on it except the WRX cd changer that I already swapped out.

Here's the BMW I'm replacing, I'm gonna miss it :( lots of good times in that car, this will be the first time in 5 years of driving to have something that isn't an e30

Welcome and nice E30.
Curious tho as to what you mean by "Legacy forums move extremely slow..."?

Thanks!

And what I mean by that, is bimmerforums has over 200k members, so people respond quick to everything. This forum looks like it has more members than the e30 specific forums and Legacy Central though, Legacy Central only has 4k members...

Everything you say? This is OT but it's my thread I'll do what want :P. We made friends with an Australian guy when we were in Japan, and he was trying to explain to us what _____ means, and no one knew what he was talking about. I guess it's what Australians say instead of chug, like you chug beer, drink it fast until it's gone. I forgot the word, and my friends were wondering too.

I know it's really random, but it bothers me that I don't remember, haha.

the word wouldn't happen to be "skull" , would it?

Nope. Maybe an example would help

In the US it would normally be at a party, and it'd be one guy drinking, and maybe 2 or 3 standing there chanting "chug chug chug..." I dunno, maybe it was just something for his area, but he didn't know what 'chug' was either

I think I remember you from R3v Limited, however I might have been drunk. Nice to see yours didn't have those bloody diving boards.

I miss my E30. :(

I do remember that. :)

One thing I'll never forget was watching my E30 drive away after I sold it. Goddamn I miss that car :(

I don't have to see it go, I've said my goodbyes :( my dad is selling it for me since it's across the state, didn't have to see my eta go either. I'm gonna miss it, but, I'm gonna get attached to this car too, and when the time comes, I'll miss it too. But sometimes you need a change.

e30s are worth more in Australia though aren't they? I sold mine for $3300, but the market is terrible right now, that's about $5000 AUD

This thing is ridiculously amazing in the snow. I just spent a couple minutes having fun in a big wide parking lot here at school, and was driving around for an hour or so before that. I scared off a Civic that was in the parking lot too.
