hey all,

im Alan and i live on the mid north coast. i bought a gen 2 lib with legacy tt conversion last year but now im really getting into it lately and doing some nice mods to make it really what i want. im not sure quite how to post pics and change my profile so any help would be great!! haha

the car was originally auto and twin turbo but the auto wat letting me down and the keyway on the crankshaft slipt so i opted for the 96 wrx single turbo engine and the v5 sti manual 4.44 gearbox. i put coilovers under her and all whiteline sway bars and links. got the sti front seats and wrx rear seat. im getting new door trims hopefully soon and im still actually currently doing the conversion!! haha i just sent the wiring saga up to Al up at AM Autos and now im just trying to sort out a exhaust and installing the new stereo :P

i like to do a little bit of racing - motokharna and kharnacrosses atm but i want to learn how to do drifting :) any info and imput about my car or anything is much apprieciated :) im trying to decide if its worth worrying about a FMIC and what turbo to run, i currently have the tdo4.

well thats me and thats my car so far, so if someone could tell me how to post pics would be great!! haha

cheers all, Alan.

Welcome.. I'd say the saga has ended if the loom is with Al.. front mounts are very popular and do work well, most would probably suggest TD05..

hey sooobi, yea cheers mate, yea they seem pretty good up there at Am Autos, so i feel pretty good with sending my loom up 2 them :) how much work is involved in fitting a front mount to a gen 2 lib with wrx motor? hmmm tru my brother has the TDO5 in his 555 spec wrx, it seems to go pretty good but another mate rekons the vf series turbo is better so im still unsure wat way 2 go lol cheers for the input :)

haha yea if i can find a rx kit!! haha ive already got the twin spot lights in the shed but i cant find many front bars, yea i got the next new motor in dan haha it just wont run properly at the moment, it just stalls after like 2 seconds for some reason, im not sure wats wrong as of yet, i had am autos fix the wiring up but we are thinking it may be a wiring issue as i went in the car with you dan and it ran fine so im not sure yet, we are still trying things and see if we can get it all working :) cheers all for your help, alan.

well it turns out that the loom i had made up was yet again wrong as before the coil pack power as the wrong way around before but now turns out that the injectors was completely wrong aswell!! well actually they managed to get 1 injector right haha mind you it has now cos me about an extra $600 for the 2 visits to find and cure the problems i have been encountering due to the wiring loom stuff ups :td that is on top of the $800 initially for the loom to be 'professionally' made up. has any1 else had any dramas when AM Autos have made a loom up?
but im thoroughly happy with the car and conversion now :) after doing some talking around ive gone with the standard WAIC setup rather than the front mount option as they are more efficient and dont require much modification and very little chopping of anything :D all fitted in there pretty nicely as did the silicon intake pipe :tu will post up some pics wen i get them, cheers :)
