Hey all,
I'm fairly new the scene.

My name is John.
I've been a big fan of Subaru's for a while and decided to take the plunge and bought an RS.
I've always liked the shape\styling and also couldn't go past the bang for your buck value.

I love the WRX's too but I don't like the 'wank' factor generally associated with them. It's also hard to find a decent WRX!

I bought a 1993 RS in January from Canberra, it's monki\Paul's old ride.

I couldn't go past the car for the value. Most of the modifications I wanted were all on the car and it's still quite stock looking (which is what I like).

I'm 26, live in Melbourne and work the usual daily grind.

I'll post up some pictures soon.
I'm heading up to the National meet and am quite keen on it.
I've also got a 1971 Charger 770. It's come off the road for a restoration and will take about 2 years (which is why I bought the RS).

Hey John, congrats on the RS purchase. Im sure you will love driving it around until the Charger is back on the road. Be sure to post up pictures of both cars :D there are a few guys on here who are into the older muscle cars as well as the Libs and Rex's. Im one of them.

Welcome mate, will meet you at canberra, you will have a blast.
As you said "bang for Buck" Rs is one of the best cars on the road.

Pics of the charger are now mandatory also :P

hey mate, do u have a mate with a wagon with a 2.5L in it?
i bought a turbo off him and there were a few chargers outside his house

Small world indeed.
He was suppose to come up to the National Meet with me and my housemate but managed to blow up his transmission and transfer case.

Nothing like a FWD RS with a 2.5ltr in it ;)
