G'day everyone, Love the forum, joined because it looks like the best suby community on the net.
I've built a few cars in the past and I currently drive a mildly moded 03' Sti, best car I've ever owned.
I've had an awesome deadly subaru sports wagon with the high power 1800cc leaded engine. :) Was my paddock thrasher / rally car till it died.
I'm now building a car for local rally events and maybe eventually state events. It started life as a 94' FWD liberty sedan with the ej22, was a great little car until my mate hit a tree with it. All the car suffered was one bent panel at the front but rather than just replace that panel my mate decided it needed MORE POWER!!! So it got a Jap spec ej20t out of an RS jammed into her. Rather than stuff around too much, it remained as a FWD and as a result it keeps breaking boxes.....
..... The question... I have now decided that it's time to AWD her. The only sub chassis I can find is from an AWD Liberty WAGON (same year as mine) <--- Will it fit the sedan? Because I'm going to be rallying it I'm going to be using a fuel cell so problems with the fuel tank fowling won't be a problem. I'm going to run the gearbox that's in it until it explodes again and I will then be upgrading to the AWD box and will upgrade the rest of the kit (pedal box etc) when that time comes.
Any and all help is appreciated. I'd love to put some pictures of my cars (past and present) up but can't work out how to do it.... Cheers guys.
