Hi guys...

I've been in the Subaru family for a while now, purchased a 99 Liberty RX (gen 2) about 2 years ago... great car.
About a year later, I took the plunge and bought a MY00 WRX Limited as well. I never sold the Liberty as I was having mechanical problems with it (speedometer), so I still have both cars in my driveway.

I've been a member of perth-wrx for a year or so, and have gone to as many events and meet-ups as possible. I joined this forum as it looks like another informative and close-net club.

At the moment, the Liberty is not driven much because of its speedo problem, but its done a head gasket only recently, and I'm considering the option of buying a B4 front cut and doing a conversion - then using the Liberty as a daily and getting serious with the WRX :P

here's a shot of the lib:

and here's a shot of the wrx:

I've modded the wrx a bit handling-wise, but power wise its got 3" TBE, CAI, silicone turbo inlet, 440cc injectors, Walbro fuel pump. Full mod list here http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/showthread.php?t=26034

Welcome to the club.

Nice par of cars you have.

BTW the Liberty is a Gen 2. The Gen 3's are a different shape.

haha
something different i suppose. i dont want to transform the lib into a track car, i would like to keep it cruiser spec :)

also i dont think i could justify the extra cost of a wrx cut! i dont have the money to modify 2 cars...
