hey all, got my first subaru last week, its a 92 rs lib, loving it too, im also a member on calaisturbo but i sold my 87 calais (hence my username) to get into a factory turbo.

id spent over ten grand on my vl, however things just got to the point where i was over it, i had all the turbo gear ready to go but decided to unload it as i wanted a factory turbo. after a bit of a look around, i decided on an RS lib and im sure glad i did, the cars are awesome.

i used to work at a car dealership which had a lot of wrx's come thru, and having always admired them its nice to get into something which is more or less the same drivetrain wise, but has somewhat more of an older cult status, just like the vl calais.

anyway, i look forward to my time on RSliberty and im sure im gonna have a lot of questions, because as i was just compliling a wealth of info on the vl, i switched cars, so now i have to start over!

i have been mostly a holden guy, although i have owned an 84 corolla and an R31 for a while, but mostly i have had commodores and toranas. this is my first suby although i have driven many as a result of working at a car dealership.

here are some pics of my recently departed vl if anyone cares

Wow, the Calais looks clean as Matt! :tu I'm sure it was a shame to see her go even though you have now moved on.

Welcome to the club, I hope you can have as many pleasurable hours of motoring out of the RS as I did!

Enjoy :D
