RIP Deefa, hope all the Family and Friends are doing ok at this very difficult time.
Make sure you Tassie boys keep the RSLC meets going for him, he was a fantastic Member and contributor to the RSLC family, will certainly be missed.

Truly sad to hear the passing of man who took time, effort and privilege in restoring a great car. You were respected, and will not be soon forgotten. I thank you for keeping the dream alive.
    Kind Regards Kristian

Wow this was a bit of a shock, I have had more than a few dealings with David and a nicer guy you could not find .
He was full of honesty, good intentions, and sound advice.
This is a real loss to the community.
My best wishes go out to his family.

Thank you to those who turned out yesterday to honour this great man. It was great to see so many from the Subaru community pay their respect to David and show their support to his family.

It was also fitting that his family acknowledged his involvement in and his love of the local RS and Subaru clubs.

    R.I.P. David (Deefa) Allen

    Holy crap...what a shock.
I often checked out his ride thread, as his wagon is a great inspiration for me.
I ran a search for his ride and this thread came up....
I've never met him but could tell he was a top bloke from his posts on this forum.

    RIP mate.

I just saw this and I can not believe.

David you were a gentleman and a friend to those who hadn't even met you physically.

You will be missed by all. My condolences to the Allens.

It is very sad to hear of this news, it would have been great to meet such a great man in person!

I have shamefully not been a very active 'offline' member of RSLC and as such have not had a chance to meet many from here which I hope to change from now on!

I will always remember Deefa from the countless posts I have read from him and the wealth of knowledge he imparted on me and I'm sure many others.

RIP David (Deefa) Allen, and my best wishes to all of his family and friends.

I'd offer more than that. He helped us like most of the early members in not only trying, but documenting the things that fit early libertys. Without Deef, we'd still be running TD05H's on early GC8s.

Amen to that, I had a whiskey or 4 to commemorate the event.

Caroline also made mention of opening up the house for a bit of a BBQ and some drinks as the weather gets better.
