cheers. its a beasty, but if im honest, it s the wifes daily car its a good thing when your missus loves performance cars..

im looking at a MY18/19 Audi RS3 sedan for my daily. cant find a modern scoob that i like, all ugly as sin ;) cant beat the gen1 liberties, other than perhaps gen4 MY08 but still too old for lease plans these days..

She needs a bit of work atm and has an EJ brake conversion waiting in the wings too - I just need to sort out a sandwich plate for the rear backing plate, reaming out the control arm mount to accept the larger EJ ball joint and a set of custom front drive shafts to make it all work properly.

Then she might be done, other than an EJ251 conversion... maybe. She’s currently running an EJ22, L series AWD box with locking centre diff and 4.11:1 diffs. I have an auto locker to go into the rear too. Just need time to sort these out amongst the other project I’ve got going on!

besides my RS, i drive a VW Touareg v8 Diesel that pulls my car trailer it pulls like a Mack truck, after been tickled up a little with 300kw and 870nm all at the wheels, plus it good on fuel, plus it a lot cheaper to run than the RS...

over my work years, (retired) have had all types of cars at no cost as work provided them, every car was topped speed, the quickest was a Holden SS V8, managed to clocked 248kph, its was great touring car for the country driving, especially going north..Now have to pay for all running expense!!
