The fact more than a few of us found this thread via a Facebook link probably tells the story. There's also shiiieeeetttloads more content out there to 'consume' (i hate that word) When i joined (03 i think, 100th member) you could hardly watch a video online and youtube was still 3 years away.
Not sure who's paying the server bills but hopefully it's managed so that it can stay around for a while yet, we lost 3 years of the MCM forum because an admin pressed the wrong button, can happen that quick and boom there goes a bucket load of resources.
Drove my wagon today. So good.

What's an "RX" if you dont have a "W"! HeHe
I'm always floating around the site and checking up on how its all going.
I took the RS out for the MCM day at Winton recently and she still runs like a dream, its crazy to think that mine and Jake's RS started this forum nearly 15 years ago.....time sure does fly.

I didn't fund the link, I was just chilling and thought, what was the RS forum up to and spotted this thread.
Good to see that the forum is still around, but I miss Reggie's banter, Hendo's cliff notes, Billsy's left field craziness.
BTW Marty did you post build pics of the conversion you did in Al's shed with BenTZ (Mechanical Stig aka Benny)???

my RS is still a virgin, it pulls harder than a 15 yr old boy.

the sad thing is that since subaru discontinued the RS liberty/legacy, the fan base will drop. newer cars will entice drivers jumping ships. I dont blame them all those creature comforts and now safety specs (airbags, blindspot, reverse camera etc etc) also with the P plates law and anti hooning we hear from the media.
i sold my RS subby and now drive a SUV as i am now a family man. Those rock hard suspension and loud exhaust doesn't cut for the family. I did move myself to an audi q5 as it is affordable and has grunt, the quality over a jap car can be night and day after 10 years. But im sure that is another debate.
anyways i came here as i found a part in my drawer to sell, as the last time i've logged was more than 2 years ago. and i will probably login again in year 2019.
its a bit like that, i check a few times a month to see whats happening, though i still always come here first when hunting for information.
Facebook as killed the forums. but you cant search facebook.
Having a fast FWD is like coming out of the closet. Sure you will surprise some people but in the end, everyone knows you're gay.
I come and go every few days to check on moderated posts...and the occasional reminisce!

I still lurk around the forum every couple of months.. there are still a few nice libs and OG members around Canberra, but i keep touch with quite a few of you blokes over on PF.
Haven't been on here in a long time......
I have still got my RS sitting in shed behind a few other toys. But the urge to overhaul and bring it back to its former glory is growing.
Happy to chip in some money to donate to keeping forum live. There is a lot of info that has helped out many over the years.
Is there any national meet on the radar? Miss the old rs lib cruise videos!
Stroker, 35R, 6spd etc etc.... zzzzzz
my RS will never die, sites might come and go that's a shame
