    Default RS build

    Evening Gents,

I have been a member of these forum for over 10 years now and my beloved RS is no more- 91 RS Sedan Burgandy with sunroof

Basically I missed the rego repayments and it went into the "too hard basket" to re- register

    So now...........

    I have a new RS!

White, Sedan, 4th owner stock as a rock

So I have stripped the red one to get white one ready to go

    Pics

    Full plans-

    - EJ22T
    - 35R
    - PPG straight cut
    - Brembos
    - E85 + Haltech PS1000
    - R180

    Let the games begin!!!

No 6 speed? I'd go a 35/65 DCCD with a helical front diff out of 03 spec C.

The PS1000 could be setup to run the centre diff. ;)

Your build timeline even eclipses Josh's racecar build!

Will petrol still be available when you finish this one?

I just want your workshop please . I am keen to see how this goes but if you are going use a stock RS, why not use the burgundy one or get one that has been modified. It seems like a crime to mess with a stock RS these days.

Burgandy one has no rego = re-roadworthy = return to stock = too much time and effort

Happy for someone else to do it, just not me.

I doubt it's a crime, I have been doing this for over 10+ years now, never seen a RS go up in price???

Well its been a busy few weeks, but I finally got around to fitting some stuff off.

Took it for a spin this arvo, forgot how loud the box is! All it needs now is some decent rubber and a wheel alignment. Can't wait.

    - DMS 40mm coilovers all round- looking at 50mm soon
    - Whiteline 22 mm front sway bar
    - Whiteline 22mm rear sway bar
    - Whiteline front strut tower brace
    - Whiteline rear strut tower brace
    - STI Alloy control arms

    - Whiteline front sway bar links
    - Whiteline Front Roll centre/bump steer kit
    - WRX RA 2.7 steering rack with whtieline bushes
    - Whiteline H brace
    - STI trailing arm and rear lateral kit
    - ARP wheel studs

    Brakes-
    - 2002 STI brembos all round- black/white
    - Project Mu pads
    - DBA 4000 discs
    - HEL braided lines

    Wheels-
    - Work Emotion XT7 copies- 18x8
    - 225/45/18 shitty tyres

    Exhaust-
    - 3" bell mouth dump in mild
    - 3" high flow stainless CAT
    - 3" all the way to Magnaflow muffler- 4" tip

    Interior-
    - GC8 STI front and rear seats
